BIOGRAPHY
Extreme Rhythm are Ireland's original award winning Celtic and Tribal percussion ensemble, having performed and recorded with top international acts such as Kelly Clarkson, Riverdance, and Celtic Woman. Notable TV appearances include The X Factor, Good Morning America, The Eurovision Song Contest, The Voice of Ireland, and Dancing with the Stars.
The group saw the premiere of their full-length theatre show in 2012, entitled ‘Primal’ which fuses rhythms and sounds from all over the world.
Further developments to this show resulted in a new show - BATTLE – which saw its Irish debut at the National Opera House in November 2016.
Their high profile has seen them perform with Triple-Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson on THE X FACTOR in the UK and continue on to perform a string of live dates with Kelly, as part of her STRONGER World Tour.
The band released their debut studio recording, entitled ‘SATURN’S SHADOW’ in December 2016. Produced by Nick Bailey, it is available on all digital platforms including iTunes, Spotify and CDBABY.
In October 2016, SATURN’S SHADOW appeared on the official Grammy Ballot in 3 categories

The album also won 3 Silver medals for Outstanding Achievement at the 2017 Global Music Awards – for Best Album, Best Band, and Best Instrumentalist.
In February 2017, Saturn’s Shadow was announced as Best Ambient/Instrumental Album at the Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles.
